Stepping Stones of Bhadra 2020-22.

Kerala chief minister Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated " Protecting Children in Cyber Space" at Cotton hill school. a special day. Reached school at shanp 8:30 am. There was tight security arrangement at the school gate . Kerala government  arranged programme named "kootti' for protecting childeren in cyber space. Our hounarable chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated ceremony at 9 am. I was seeing CM for the first time. Today there was regular classes to the upto 12:30 pm. We are assigned with duties to arrange children for function. After the inauguration program, there was a program related to robotics. It was an  exhibition. Different types of robots were exhibited and some experts explained the student with the peculiarities and working of robots. At the hour taught 9N with the topic " Food inside stomach. Last day of this week. Reached the school at 9.15 am and enquired about substitution hours. Comparatively there was less free hours I got 8C 6th hour, which was the class already allotted to me to teach Biology. Third hour 9B, Fourth and sixth hous 8c and last hour 9N were the classed assigned to me. for 9B and 9N I taught the same topic food through oesophagus and Nucleus the regulatory centre of the cells for 8th standard. In the substitution hour entertained students with news spreading game .Actually it was an awareness on how the fake news are formed. Watered the plants of butterfly garden. I felt very happy to see and correct the notebooks because of neat diagrams and  important points highlighted using colour pencils. Most of the books were really good.

It was a good day. As usual entered the school at on time. Today, security checking at the gate. They checked by our ID card also. 4th hour 9N was the only hour already allotted to me. I had prepared to teach with interesting topic Digestion inside the mouth. 8D. second hour and 9H seventh hour were additional periods allotted. It was my second day in 8D. They invited me with happiness and love so I was very interested to teach them. In the fourth period of 9N, I taught the method of swallowing as port of digestion in mouth. The part epiglottis' made confusion among students. Because they learn about this pant for the first time. But when saw the ICT video showing mode of swallowing, the concept become clear

It was wedneysday, there was no assigned classes. Reached the school on time. Visited Usha teachers table to enquire about substitution hours. At that time my concerned teacher called me and provided duty to teaches the pending portions in at and 8D. Oh! another two new classes. I felt little bit tensed, because they were new to me. Actually the students were  behaved just opposite to my expectation. They and made me comfort by their careful listening and discipline. I handled the lessons easily in both classes and managed the dass well. Felt my happy to spent time with such nice people. Identified one of the unknown plants among butterfly garden as Brownia  from the family Fabaceae.

Entered the school at 9:15 am. Third hour of class 9 B was assigned for me. It is newly assigned class for me. But I got 3 additional hours as substitution. Second hour 9N , fifth hour 8B and seventh hour 8C. 8 B students are new to me. They were really nice people. Entertained them with indoor games. They were so happy because game was relief from their tired hour after lunch.

18/07/2022 Monday It was a special day because AEO visited the school. He checked all classess and registers to ensure the quality of education. His visit was really a surprise. As usual taught Biology at 8C in second hour . The topic was life related and interesting. "Plastids". Students were really interested to know the secret behind ripening of fruits and diverse colour of fruits and flowers. I got two substitution hours but unfortunately other school teachers attended those hours. So I missed the opportunity. Finding classess is a huge task  in such a big school.

14/07/2022 Thursday       Today  I got the opportunity to meet an excellent group of Students from 9 N. Taught them the topic digestion. Their cooperation was really nice.
